Welcome to “Clean and Green,” a simple CSS-based Textpattern theme. There are no additional forms, graphics or pages to load—simply copy the CSS file into the default Textpattern installation.
How to Install
- Install Textpattern. You don’t need to make any changes to the basic install except add a site title and tagline from Admin > Preferences.
- Download the CSS file (clean.css).
- In the TXP admin interface, go to Presentation > Style and overwrite the default stylesheet with the contents of clean.css.
That’s it!
Included Styling
The new CSS file includes styling for the following block-level elements inside the content area: h3 (post title), h4, h5, p, ol, ul, dl and blockquote.
Recommendations
If using the default installation, I recommend the following:
- Keep comments as an ordered list. This allows for distinct styling against the rest of the post content.
- Add footer text inside the pages “default” and “archive.” The Clean CSS file includes styles for this.
